Description

Adjuvant in the regenerative process of the oral mucosa and prevention of oral mucositis caused by radio or chemotherapy

 

Mucosamin Mouthwash is used to help relieve oral mucositis caused by cancer, as well as ulcerative conditions of the oral cavity. It also supports the healing process following surgical procedures involving the tongue or oral mucosa. This product is recommended for patients undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

Mucosamin Mouthwash should be used:

  • - At the start of radiotherapy or chemotherapy to help reduce the incidence of oral mucosal inflammation.
  • - After surgical procedures of the tongue or oral mucosa to support healing.
  • - For the management of oral mucositis caused by radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
  • - To help control ulcerative conditions of the oral cavity.
  • - For the management of recurrent aphthous stomatitis.
  • - To reduce symptoms of burning mouth syndrome.

    • Begin the treatment with MUCOSAMIN Mouthwash from first day of radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
    • Before treatment, remove any foreign material from the ulcerated area by rinsing or using a swab.
    • Rinse mouth 3-4 times per day using 5-10 ml of the product. Distribute the product evenly around the entire oral cavity and keep in mouth for at least 1 minute.
    • Do not drink or eat  and do not rinse your mouth for at least one hour after application.
