WHAT IS DHA?

• DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is a natural ingredient that gives a tanning effect and is used in self-tanning products.
• When applied to the skin it gives a sun tanned tint.
• The concentration of DHA in self-tanning products is between 2% and 10%.
• The darkness of the tan on the skin depends on the DHA % in the product.
• For best results, choose the right product based on your natural skin color.

For light-skinned people, it is better to choose products with low DHA concentration (2-4%), for medium-dark skin, medium (5-6%) and for darker or tanned products, the highest DHA concentration is best (10 - 14%).
