It is one of the key ingredients in the production of perfumes, thanks to its exceptional ability to capture the bouquet of the constituent fragrances and to harmonise all the essences, enhancing their scent.

Bergamot essential oil:

  • - has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory properties;
  • - can help to reduce stress and improve mood;
  • - can help to fight symptoms of cold or flu;
  • - is suitable for skin care and spot treating;
  • - can help mothers after giving birth in order to restore harmony and balance.

  • Directions:
    • - If you often suffer from lip blisters during the cold season (and beyond), mix a few drops of bergamot oil with basic tea tree oil and apply to the blister every few hours with a cotton pad.
    • - If you have oily, acne-prone, blotchy skin, add a few drops of bergamot essential oil to the wheat germ base oil and massage into the affected areas. You can also evaporate your face by adding bergamot oil to boiling water.
    • - Symptoms of psoriasis will also be relieved by mixing bergamot oil with evening primrose oil and massaging the affected area, or by adding it to the water when bathing.
    • - In the events of stressful situation, bad mood or anxiety, add several drops of bergamot essential oil on a candle, to a diffuser or other aromatherapy device and enjoy the soothing aroma lingering through your home.

    Precautions for use: Although bergamot essential oil is very beneficial, it is important to know that using it directly on the skin can burn it if used before contact with the sun. It is therefore advisable to protect the areas anointed with oil from direct sunlight.

    Essential oils are not medicine. Their effects are researched and, due to the EU's control of health claims, we cannot provide a full description of their properties.
