The Tabebuia tree’s bark (Tabebuia Impetiginosa) used in Ecosh’s Pau D’Arco capsules comes from Brazil and the tree mainly grows in Central and South America. All its cavities are populated with ants. This makes the tree strong and resistant to all kinds of pests and fungi. The useful properties of the Tabebuia tree are well known by the Peruvian and Mexican native people who call it “a Divine Tree”. Its incredibly dense and rot-resistant wood is used by native people to make hunting bows.
What’s more, tribes have long used the tree’s inner bark as a treatment for stomach, skin, and inflammatory conditions. Its bark is uncommonly rich in various minerals, vitamins and other useful compounds. It contains phosphorus, chromium, calcium, iron, iodine, phosphorus, zinc, manganese, magnesium, boron, and a large amount of other substances such as lapahol.
As a natural supplement, Tabebuia tree bark powder or Pau D’Arco is suitable for increasing the body’s resistance and maintaining the immune system, especially during the spring/autumn seasons. We also recommend that you use Pau D’Arco as a monthly course to cleanse your body.
The antiviral and antibacterial properties of lapacho bark derive from its lapachol and xylodine content. Lapacho bark neutralizes fermentation processes, improves resistance to viruses, and inhibits the growth of fungi in different organs and tissues. Pau D’Arco is an effective immune booster and a natural defense against free radicals. In folk medicine, Pau D’Arco is known as a natural antibiotic.
